Industrially compostable doypack packaging is made of Kraft paper and PLA foil which is a new type of biodegradable, compostable material.. Bags are not only an ecological alternative, but also highly representative packaging. The bag is made from renewable resources and does not contain petroleum-based plastics.
Through increased pressure and temperature, they transform the original components into natural and non-toxic biomass, which can be added to the soil as a nutrient. Industrially compostable bags are ideal for all non-photosensitive products, e.g. such as various foods, cosmetics or animal feed. It is completely irrelevant whether product is a granular, solid, powdery or pasty consistency.
The bag is not suitable for oily and wet products.
Closing the bag with a ZIP allows repeated use by gently pressing the zipper, and thus the goods are protected from dehydration and loss of aroma. The doypack bag can be sealed with ordinary commercial sealing machines. There is a tear notch above the ZIP that allows the package to be opened easily.
Important note: Compostable bags have a shelf life of 6-12 months. To maintain high quality, they should be stored away from heat sources and direct sunlight, at a temperature of 17-23 °C and relative humidity of 35-55%. If these conditions are met, the bags will not start to degrade when exposed on the shelf.
All our bags are made from the best materials (BPA-free) and are suitable for food packaging in accordance with EU regulations and safety standards (EG 1935/2004, EG 2002/72, and EG 10/2011).
